Sightron question

Hello all,any thoughts about a Sightron model S11B2444D fixed power dot reticle? I am looking for a reasonable quality scope at a price that wont break the bank,a comprimise I know,but financial reality dictates).I will use it on a 6.5 swede for a combination of shooting disciplines from 100yard benchrest to 600 yard varmint.I prefer fixed power over variable. Personally, for the money I would go with the Weaver Target 24x40. It is a great scope and price less than the Sightron.

Thanks for your reply Jon,price is not the only criteria necessarily,but would you care to elaborate on comparisons between the quality of the optical elements,the mechanical functioning and the durability? Regards, Jim

The Weaver optically is very nice scope and in my opinion compares to the Sightron nicely. The adjustments in the Weaver are top notch and one of the best in the field.

No question get the Sightron over the Weaver.
Sightron has excellent customer service and stands by their warranty over and above what they need to.
Weaver customer service and warranty are practically non-existant.

T-24 Weaver 1/8 min dot. Nice clicks, reliable return to zero, old established reputation. Cheap!
