Sightron 36 or Weaver 36

This scope will be going on a 6 BR. Both are very close in price. Would you pick the Sightron SII 36X42 AO,Non Big Sky) or Weaver T-36. I just sold a Weaver T-24 and was pretty happy with it. Just wanted to jump up some magnification. Thanks.

Please elaborate on the customer service from Sightron.
Seriously considering the 50X mildot when it is finally available. No dog in this fight just want the straight dope on this vendor. Never heard anything negative prior to this post so I am very interested in what transpired if you are willing to share. If you don't want to post it on the forum just pm me or use email.

I have received excellent customer service from Sightron.
Weaver customer service however is non-existent.
Get the Sightron.

Sightron customer service has been great to me. I have had several cases to need their help and they have always came through for me Most of the time the problem was self inflected.
Also I have several of each and the Sightron is a notch above the weaver.

sightron has the best customer service in the industry. people at sightron go out of their way to make a customer happy. my buddy sent his scope in to get it checked out before a elk hunt and they sent him a brand new replacement to use until he got back from his trip. now that is bad customer service, never heard of that from no one else before. Sightron in my opinion is the best bang for the buck plus there glass is pretty hard to beat.I sold all my Leupold's and replaced them with sightrons
