Sightron 10-50x60 vs Nightforce BR 8-32x56

I want to take the NSX off my Stolle Panda. Which should I buy to replace it?
Most of my shooting is 100 to 300 yds. I like power and clarity.

For 1,2,& 300 yards I really like my Leupold Comp Series 40x's. Also available in 35x & 45x.

A big savings in weight ( 20.3 oz) versus my Nightforce BR models at 36 oz. Overall size & bulk is also a lot less than both the NF & the Sightron. Had a 10-50x 60mm Sightron & because of the very large tgt. knobs, it would not fit in one of my largest rifle cases. Nightforce is snug, but the Sightron would not come close to fitting.

Clarity & brightness of the Leupold Comps is an improvement over the older Leupold 36x's, and eye relief is not as critical, for me.

Side focus, same as your NSX, comes equipped with screw-on lens caps, & sunshades are available at a reasonable cost. The forever lifetime warranty is another big plus, for me.

A very good choice when a variable is not needed, and when mirage is not a factor.

I have a 45x45 Leupold and it's the finest scope I've ever used. Lots of people will tell you they are junk and all the problems they've had with them, but mine has never been anything but perfect. The parallax, repeatability, tracking are excellent.

I have two Sightron SII 10-50x60 LRTDs that I bought used at great savings because their owner's did not like them. One on my 6 PPC and one on my .222 are nothing but sweet. Great clarity, tremendous parallax control, perfect repeatability. Nice to have the variable power for setting flags, etc. They are quite heavy, I think around 27 oz., but if you can handle the weight, they are fine by me and love the 50X for my tired old eyes.
