I'm in the market for a new scope for position shooting, prone any/any matches, metallic silhouette, informal f-class, training for NRA High Power, etc). I'm looking for a scope that has a top end of around 32-36x, an objective large enough to provide a good image under max zoom, and most important of all- a front focus.
I'm a lefty, and with traditional scopes, I have to break position every single time I want to make a windage adjustment because I need to use my right, support) hand. Front focus scopes allow me to rotate the scope 90 degrees CCW, in effect making the scope "left handed".
Are there any other scopes out there that meet these criteria? I know of the NF 8-32x56 BR, but I wanted to see if there are any others I should look at too. I had my heart set on the Sightron SIII 8-32x56, but then I found out it's a side focus, so I'm still looking for suitable alternatives. Any suggestions?
