Sierra bullets

There was a thread deleted from the forum about Sierra bullets this week. I don't speak for this website, but I want to apologize to Sierra President Patrick Daly for all the doubts expressed toward him and Sierra over their NRA support, and Thank him on behalf of all the shooters of Sierra bullets for his actions and not just words in returning the NRA to their home webpage. In these turbulent times, seeing results like this are reassuring and inspiring.

To even think a bullet manufacturer would be against the NRA is absurd. Which is why I stayed out of that thread and did not follow it. Emotions were running way to high.

Plenty of good posts above, I agree with most of them. Sierra is an outstanding company and we'll respected in the Industry. I believe they always have and will continue being a strong supporter of the NRA as they stated. Personally I love the 20 caliber Sierra Blitzking bullets for varmint hunting and will continue to use them as I always have.

everyone makes a mistake every now and then,I've done it,probably you too,and if you disagree,I'll have my dog bite you!!

Dan Cooper supporting Obama is absurd, but it happened. Sierra showed that not everything is screwed up.
Dan Cooper was short sighted and paid the price. I am guessing his thinking was they would only go after "Evil Black Rifles". Which as we understand the Second Amendment is not about deer hunting. He failed to realized we don't want anyone to get a foot in the door, then push it wide open.

I don't know about all the political stuff but Sierra bullets are top notch, some of the most accurate I've ever shot. The 6mm, 85 grain BTHP, is the most effective, all around 243 Win bullet I've ever used capable of taking varmints, predators and white tails. It shoots like a match bullet with outstanding terminal performance. It's a one size fits all good choice in the 243.

Their 6mm, 80 gain blitz is a great pure varmint bullet for long range shooting.

I've used their no frills 150 grain Pro Hunter in various 308's for years and taken several white tails with it. It my go to deer bullet.

Their 223 Rem 50 and 55 grain blitz bullets are very accurate in all my 223's with 12" twists. I've been using Nosler 50 and 55's the last few years but honestly the Sierra's shot just as good.
