LE,

Yup, but it was a panther/mt lion as I heard it. But that legend isnt as famous as the one N. MN Game Warden attemping to apprehend several or more members of a local tribe caught fishing in traditional manners off the rez and they inserted an undersize walleye head first, where the "sun dont shine".. Ouch....

I note where your at in MT. My step-Grampa was/is the licensed active Elk hunter at the young age of 94 in the great state of MT. Lives in your town.... He is orig from the Bemidji/Guthrie..

I have 3. All Savage hybrids.

First up, just got this one back together with a SS LW 243 28" bbl. 8 twist. Sitting in a BVSS stock now, but have a benchrest stock I need to paint and bed for it. Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 scope in Warne tactical rings and 0 moa base. This is my second barrel on this one, first didn't work out. This pic is still with old barrel. This one will be my mid range gun, 300-600 yds.

Second one, Savage BVSS in 22-250 with a McGowen 26" 9 twist barrel. Burris base and rings, Nikon 6-18x40 buckmaster. This one will one-hole Hornady Vmax 50 gr bullets with 40.0 grs of H-380. This one's my 500 yard and under gun, when the wind cooperates.

This one's my 12F in 6.5x284 with a Mcgowen 30" 8 twist barrel. NF 12-42x BR scope NPR1 reticle, Warne tactical rings and a 20 moa Warne base. This one loves Lapua scenars 139 gr over 50.5 grs of H4831sc seated on the lands. Will shoot one hole groups @ 100 yards every time I bring my talent with me (lol). This is my long range gun, from about 500 yards or so, to as far away as I can tell that the target's a prairie dog!

What is the stock on the 12F?

Just got my .243AI - Stiller Predator V (RBLP), Benchmark 28" 1:8 twist HV barrel (same as Krieger #17), Holland brake, Farrell 20 MOA rail, Jewell trigger, NXS 12-42x with 2DD, Burris Signature Zee rings and Holland scope level. Got everything leveled and only fireformed 10 cases so far.

The stock is a modified Royal Arms design from some 30+ years ago. I like the looks and feel. I have a 6x47L with the same type stock. I guess I haven't matured enough to migrate to the "tracker" type stocks. Probably not realizing how much that type affects accuracy. Oh well, maybe next stock.

What brand of XP stock are you using?

LE Hanson
What the story on all the coyotes on the barn?

Great bunch of guns.

Really not a good picture but my Rem 700 Varmint Special .25-06. The rifle has a Krieger 24" barrel, 2 lb trigger and topped with a Leupold 24x M8 (pictured with Weaver T24X). It don't get to much better for long range launching 87 gr Sierra bullets at 3625 fps.

Rifle #2, Cabelas Special Edition VS SPS Stainless in .22-250. B&C Medalist stock, Timney trigger and topped with a Leupold VXII 6x18.

What is the stock on the 12F?

I'm sorry about that B. E., I had forgotten all about posting in this thread. To (finally) answer your question, the stock is a factory Savage F class stock.

This might be concidered a "predator sniping rig", although i have not shot any critters with this one yet. Still working up loads for it. Its a 7SAUM on a Pierce comp multi-flat.

Nice looking rifle, looks to be one hell an AT&T plan where you can reach out and touch a critter.
