Just curious, why did you use the little solid boring bars rather than small insert bars?

I played with a few removable inserts in the past. Then got these on a whim. I found out that these just work. so well in fact, I never wanted to venture back to the removable.
They are razor sharp, last forever and leave and excellent finish.

Here's one I set up on a little CNC chucker lathe. I made a number of gang blocks and keep them tooled up for specific jobs. It's definitely a time saver and with all the tools saved it's switching between jobs is a breeze.

I like having the boring bars held fixed like that without having to use a holder and also the fixed block for reamer holder. Nice work!
