I like that idea, but the limitation of the cross slide travel would be an issue for some lathes.

Nice set up Dustin! Not sure what lathe you have? I made a similar set up to yours a few years back for a Haas TL-1 CNC lathe I used to own, and it worked great.

I do too may different tenon profiles. I have three different grooving tools and use full profile threading inserts. Easier for me to change tools on my Haas.
