Bear, nice view....oh yeah the rifle is really cool too.
Hunter, when making a pistol from a bat are they registered as a rifle or pistol when purchased. I just know theres a gray area with encores doing that kinda thing, but would love to make one.

Anyway here is my bat, EX2.0 with Lija CM 32 15tw with teflon coating, stock is a manners L50 in desperate need of some custom paint. Weighs in at 32.4lbs. Someday Ill have a more realistic one thats comfortable to shoot. Really like the MB actions.

Flybuster, how do you like the Vortex scope? Does it do well at long ranges?

Hi Josh,

I am satisfied with my purchase. It seems to track well, meaning it goes where I dial it. Haven't done any box test, but I have shot it at 5 matches. The MOA reticle is handy for wind hold-off (2nd Focal Plane Model).

The glass isn't the best compared to my SIII or VX-III, but it's more than adequate. But for the price and long list of features I understood the small compromise before I made the purchase.

This is going to make a great dual purpose varmint and big game scope, when mounted on my Tikka T-3, and a great sling/prone & f-class scope for highpower on my rifle pictured above.

I recently received this one back from Joel Russo who made the stock for me. Local GS chambered the barrel

Bat SV
20 Javelina Improved
Lilja #4 12 twist
Jewell HVR

I need to par down the stock some and shoot it with clear

SDH
These pistols made from rifle receivers always looked backwards to me. It seems to me a right hand shooter would want to hold the pistol grip with his right hand and manipulate the bolt and load with his left hand making use of a left hand BAT action.
I cant justify the expense of building one to try it, but, it just seems like it would work better to me.

Here's my latest build. I finished the block just in time to take this one to the 600 yd IBS Nationals, placed 6th.

Jay is a close friend of mine and very talented. Wait until you see his next project, if you think this is cool. Lee

I know people are being greedy and keeping all their rifles to them selves. Don't keep them to yourself, share the wealth. The reason why I started this thread is to keep people who do not have one, drooling at everyone else's that whats how I started and now that I have one (but havent shot it yet!!!) I cant stop looking at them. Hopefully Skeetlee, flyduster, or jaycutright jumps in and shows us yet another sweet rifle. We can only hope.

What configuration is your 3L, Wayne? I have two of them, a 3LL147OCTPIC and 3L14OCTPIC, both for F-Class.

Steve,
I don't want to sound ignorant but it's down at the range and I don't want to walk the 50 yards in the dark and cold ( scared of the boogie man) to look at it, how do you tell? are one of the two #'s you mentioned on it? I don't recall seeing a number like that on there.
Wayne.

Wayne,

That is just BAT's shorthand for: 3 lug, long action, 1.47" octagon with Picatinny rail machined. The other is: 3 lug, short action, 1.4" octagon with Picatinny rail. They also are available in 1.35", 1.53" & 1.74" round, and 1.4" multi-flat. The rails are machined at 20 MOA by default but they will change that on request. Bruce is pretty flexible about configuration. If something is not listed, he is certainly willing to discuss it.

S&S Precision Built 7RSAUM/6Dasher F-Classer. Bat MB with Standard and Mag. bolts, Bowman Stock, March 10x60, Krieger and Bartlein Barrels..

Steve,
It's a 1.35 I believe round and drilled for mounts rather than being a integral mount, shoots real well that's all I know.
