How do you like the 3 lug action? I really enjoy mine. I also like the robertson stocks. I think they are wonderful in fact!! Nice set up!! Lee

Frank, I don't think I'll be in Florida anyitme in the forseeable future.

Lee, I like it, the action is very smooth and locks up like a vault. The stocks are terrific, I've had quite a few over the years, however, the delays in getting them done are just too much for me these days, so my new stuff is all tubeguns. German, that is one sharp BAT build. Nice job.

Thanks Bill. The key component was the rear sight base made by Dennis "Flatlander" Selfridge. Without that, the rifle would be useless to me. You can tell by the complete lack of scope bases that I'm strictly an iron sight shooter.

It sure is nice to have good friends with machining talent! I've only met Dennis in person once, but we've corresponded and been forum friends for years. That's what I really like about this site.

They are both wildcats I came up with in the past few years. I haven't tested the 308 much yet but, the 7mm Airborne has been a good performer landing me in 3rd for Heavy Gun & the Grand Overall at the 1000yrd nats this year. I have a 30 cal version of it too, the 300 Airborne, that has posted several groups in the 3's with the 210SMK's.
The Airborne case is a modified 300 Win Mag, I'll tell some more about it later & post some pix too.
