One of my 2 BAT 3-Lugs. Switch barrel F-Class rig 6mm Dasher/284 Win.

This port is a good length for my 6 Dasher barrel, live round extraction is perfect, not so much with a 284 Win.

Is that a Robertson stock? Very nice!! I have a Big BAT B being barreled and placed in a shehane St-1000 at the moment. I Have a good friend that is a professional cabinet builder and he is going to spray the clear on the stock. The rifle should really look nice when it is all done. I bought a Robertson BRX stock for that little ppc in the pic above. I really like these stocks. I think they are a way better stock than the mcmillan. At least as far as finish goes! Nice stick!!!

MArkS I also like your rifle, looks dam good. I have tried to like the Tooley MBR stocks but they just dont feel good to me. I think they are a great design and mine tracks very well, i just cant get comfortable behind it. Looks very nice!! Lee

I've had my BAT s.n. 357 for four years now.
RB/RP fluted bolt, Jewell trigger, Robertson stock with all accessories, includes an action wrench and use it as a switch barrel. All the barrels are 26" PacNor with custom flutes. Includes 30mm BAT rings.
Very smooth/sleek action with tight tolerances, not bulky and gorgeous to look at !

243Ackley 1:10 with 90gr. Lapua @ 3400 fps
20BR 1:11 with 40 gr Berger @ 3950 fps
20BR-40 Imp 1:9 with 50 gr Berger @ 3900 fps

Lee,

I was wondering if that was a Robertson you had also, I thought I recognized the finish. My stock is a Roberston GBF or Great Britain F-class design. I am extremely happy with the design of this stock. It has a railroaded fore-end too which is kind of cool. My next build will look sort of like CdnHotshot's rifle, but it will be African wood.

Very cool rifles guys, Tanner

I noticed the forearm on your stock, and thats what made me wonder. I really really like that design. Did you have to order it straight from Robertson or did you buy it from a retailer? Fill me in! Ya my shrek gun is a Robertson BRX, My little girl, (7 years old) named the rifle the shrek rifle. It has kinda stuck!! Thanks Lee

LOL, Shrek good one! I guess I have to come up with something that funny for my rifle, since its so green.

I've had this gun for a couple of years, I ordered it directly from Ian Robertson in Canada. Tom Meridith did the inletting, and Dowling did the metal work. If I had to do it over again, I'd have the final finish applied after the inletting. Each of these gentlemen do superb work, very very meticulous. I have a picture of the forend upclose I can PM you that after supper.

I wanted the BAT 3 lug mainly because of the short bolt throw angle. I would be shooting prone and I wanted minimal movement in my position. I only really have to move my right hand to load, I can keep my left arm on the mat supporting my body and controlling the joystick. (why I didn't want a RL/LP for F-Class) I did my research and I am happy with that decision. I wanted a BR type action, since it would be shot in BR occasionally. Settled on a BAT, they are the best looking ones out there.

This is my BAT 'B' in RB/RP. The gun is chambered in 300WSM, sports a Bartlein 30" 1-16tw barrel and a Nightforce NSX 8-32x56 with NP-2DD reticle.

Lee,

I have had a Shehane Tracker, two MBR, 2- Franklin 008,and the very first Lowrider. Richard built the lowrider for me when I shot my first IBS 600 yd record, and I shot 2 more with the lowrider. I like the stocks I can get a hold on, I can shoot free recoil. There are some about the lowrider I don't like. The knotch out rear stock. I would like a flat rear. Me Bat I got from a freind, it had a Lam fiddleback maple and walnut, but it had a narrow forearm, so I put the MBR on it.

Last group today at 600 yards in 20+mph switchy winds after I figured out the tuner and adjusted it at 300 yards. It held good vertical but I did not shoot fast enough and got burnt by the wind :)
