Try 49,000 licenses statewide for the 2016 N.D. season!CWD. Or so they say.
I was thinking that was not the Exact Term and I was incorrect. It was a Pretty large Pandemic of EHD, or epizootic hemorrhagic disease.
Mule Deer Fawn Birth is Down and so is the Habitat of Whitetail when the CRP is coming to the end so are those great areas of Habitat. Less Habitat ( for Roosters too) means less game. Add in a Few hard winters. ( this one will be particularly bad) And a drop from 150,000 tags to around 100,000 tags with 99,000 applicants on the first draw. ( lottery)

No CWD around here. First, The state issued unlimited doe tags for many years, the coyote population has exploded, and we now have wolves and mountain lions. Actually the last three Winters were very very mild with little snow. This year is going to be hard on the deer with lots of snow and very cold temps. Also, as mentioned above, the CRP Acres have diminished greatly.CWD. Or so they say.
