Using ball valves to retain the rods is genius!
He’s got me thinking you could put the ball valves down towards the bottom to act as a stop for pro shot rods. You could keep the rods enclosed for travel and have the handles out for use.Using ball valves to retain the rods is genius!
Yes, 1/2 cpvc.Very nice! Is that all 1/2“ pvc including the valves?
Will a rod go thru a tee, or would you need a cross?I wish I had put a tee in the middle I case I ever want to use 3 rods.
Thanks Dusty, I meant a cross. Will a rod go thru a tee, or would you need a cross?
I figured so. Thats a great ideaThanks Dusty, I meant a cross.
You gotta have a tall ceiling and a step ladder for that one?
The ball valve retainer is a clever idea
I use one of these for my RFBR rods and really like it, had one in the back of the pickup for a couple years as that's where I kept most of the "stuff" needed for this game (didn't have to load/unload everything after matches). NO damage to the rods or the rod box. Be careful about the really really long rods, they won't fit. Don't ask how I know this. Well worth the $$ for rod protection when traveling.Has anyone tried these and how do they work
