Listen to what is said here, keep some, let other go. But most importantly go and compete! My experience has been that 3 years competing at the club level has gained me more experience than 10 years by myself at my bAckyard range. Find a mentor that is patient and willing to answer your questions. It's way more fun with others and their experiences probably have or will mirror yours. Good shooting.
