Shout out to Schmidt

I recently purchased a 6x36 Schmidt. I've owned several 5x25s and all were excellent. While it tracked well, the glass did not impress me to say the least. I fiddled with it and ended up sending it in.
Jerry said 2-3 weeks turnaround. After 3 weeks and nothing, I called. Pleasant lady named Lisa answered, told me Jerry left and my Scope is headed to Germany. Told her my dilemma and she offered to send me a loaner. Who does that?. Scope showed up 4 days later, took it out the other day and WOW! THAT'S what I was hoping for. 600 yard f class target was crisp even with mirage. Anyhow, Lisa from Schmidt went above and beyond to make a customer happy.

I am glad they corrected the problem. HOWEVER how do scopes in that price range get shipped with a less than great lenses? What are we paying for? Pretty much every competitive shooter I know has sent scopes back for one issue or another. So let's say half the time the scope is getting blamed for what is a gun or operator problem. That's still a pile of scopes not up to the advertising. Funny thing is for the most part we all defend them .

I was told it was a parallax issue. Pretty sure it wasn't operator error.
I won't have my scope back for awhile
