I was just considering a new Atlas action last night..........

If you are, I'd recommend getting the optional 'Panda' .173" spacer. It allows you to use the common 1.115" head space 'Panda' tenon barrels on the .692" Atlas action with the Atlas .250" recoil lug. It makes getting future barrels a breeze.

My 26 inch barrels are faster than many of the competition barrels at 28 inches.

In the Sniperhide test of my 6br, it was one of the fastest barrels tested. And those were all 28 inches.

Another Atlas fan. And I have the spacer and a coned bolt! They have the barrel print on their website!

How about AR-223 barrels? Since Compass Lake no longer sells to individuals, the XTC folks need a new reasonable priced barrel provider! Most of these guys go thru a barrel a year! And 99% use the standard heavy Wilde chamber'

It could work... but it might be diversifying into an area already pretty solidly covered by way too many AR builders. And WOA has a pretty solid hold on the Service Rifle / .223 Wylde setup.

No. Doggone it. I have a BUNCH of 8 twist 6.5 blanks.

I'd try a shouldered barrel in 6.5x47 if you get one. Throated for 130s. I know guys are doing 140 class bullets, but I think it is a 120-130 class cartridge.

You are the first person to ever ask me for a 6.5x47L.

I will say this!!! If someone has a reamer they are never planning to use, shoot me a PM and maybe we can trade or something, but I have no plans to pursue one.
