I did have a customer that had an older Panda, and it wasn't the same headspace as the new standard.

30BR Kauger Pre-fit Brad did for me is starting to come around with load work up. It's a 10twist 30BR so working with 155gr Palma SMKs and h335. 2650fps. 10shots at 100.
I had planned on making this a hunting barrel however with it grouping like this i might try it on those real windy days at the range for a match. The 155s should help with wind.

People keep saying that you "have to" shoot a 30br with a 16 or 17 twist. Why???

Heck if my 308s will shoot 1/4 minute, then a 30br should shoot smaller than that.

So far I'm impressed with the 30BR 10 twist. That was with rem 7 1/2 primers and just the start of load work up.

I have and 135 ttsx Barnes bullets ordered to see what it'll do with a hunting bullet.

I think my experiment with short freebore and narrow freebores has concluded. I'm going to send the 22gt 50 FB back for regrind to open the freebore a bit. To accomadate the fat bullets.

The reamer was made wrong. They made me another one. All good now.
