Should I sell this?

What does the borescope tell ya? A couple good whacks with a hammer should straighten out the top strap!:D:D:eek:

Seriously, I’d make a display box and hang it on a wall. Great conversation piece!

There is a “museum”in Cody, Wyoming that has a large collection of guns just like that. You could send it to them.;)

Wait for a gun turn in. Regardless of condition, they usually give a hundred bucks or more. Around here, the dealers line up with their junk and cash in.
A buddy was given a "pile" of gun parts when his gunsmith friend passed. It was nothing but parts but he spent over a year going thru parts and reassembling what would into working firearms. When the local news talked of a gun "buy back" in his town he decided it was time to move some of the parts. Hurriedly assembling as many as possible to even somewhat resemble a "gun", he took them down to the event. He arrived at the money table with three in hand and the guy behind the table smiled wide. Then my bud says "do you have some folks that can help me with the rest?". One one trip back in one of the helpers said "I am not very knowledgable about guns but it looks like some of these may not be working". My buddy replied "if you see one you think MIGHT WORK please point it out and I'll take it home". :D
He hauled in $2500 and it was the last buy back they ever had in that town (about 20 years ago).

I've been to that museum my friend. It was a very interesting place and the curator was as excited about many of the treasures as the guys down the street (Cody Firearms Museum) were about theirs.
BTW, that was exactly where I thought this fine quality piece should go (Dug-Up).
