Myself, JigStick and another friend of mine was at the facility two weeks ago. Derek grabbed a basket of 600 case that they was running thru at the time. We took them over to the quality control station and measured about 20 random cases out of the basket. All cases was within .005 in the neck wall thickness measured at three places 120 deg apart on the neck. They have a special process in one of the last stages that makes the neck walls extremely consistent.

I am friends with Derek and Terry Peterson. They have a lot of irons in the fire. Yes, 6BR is on its way from them (but not for awhile). They also have 243 brass that is ready to hit the site. I have been pushing for several calibers, however, it is not a overnight process for them. They are a very young company in the cartridge making realm. Every caliber cost ruffly $50,000-$75,000 to develop the tooling and mfg process to get the best quality possible. I have shot their 243 brass testing. Currently I have 10 loads on them and the pockets are still tight. Their quality control is very high and they strive to make the best brass on the market. They have the most up to date, state of the art equipment for cartridge making right now. Several big name people are involved with them, names that everyone on the site would know, and they are making brass for them. I have taken several guys from this site to the facility for a tour. Jigstick being one of them and Madmixerman another. If you have any questions regarding them ask or PM me and I will text Derek and get a answer.

Below is the step in making their brass start to finish.

thanks for this info. i will be buying some of their brass soon as i want to support them and hope they are very successful

I recall seeing brass for a variety of calibers on their shelf during the tour. WSM, cheytac, 6xc, 6 Creedmore. Apparently they are pretty close to finalizing their 300wm process as well. I asked about 6PPC brass specifically. And was told “unless someone places an order for 50,000 cases minimum...it’s not worth the cost in tooling to do a run.” So maybe in the future that will happen. The same goes for 6.5x47.

Another detail that stands out to me is the cost of their brass. If I remember correctly I think it was around $0.70 / case. Significantly cheaper than Lapua...and much better quality.

I am thinking that you meant to say the neck wall thickness was within .0005", not .005"?

I think that's the case. I just got some of their 260 brass and a quick check of 5 or 6 cases with a tubing mic showed almost no variance in neck thickness measured at 4 points. Really nice looking stuff.
