Look at the brass market. See where the shortages are. Those are the gaps that will be addressed first. At least that’s my understanding. I’ve been desperately searching for 7wsm brass for years, and I can’t wait to get my beast eating again.

All three are the same length. 7mm WSM has the shoulder ~.038" forward.

There is usually a shortage of 7.65 argentine mauser and 303 british brass- no need to tool up for them either.

How long have people been busting chops at Lapua for WSM brass?! About as long as WSMs have been around. I have a bunch up Winchester on the shelf but would buy Peterson in a heartbeat! Br is made by a couple other top brass people already. Competing in a crowded market? Not saying they would sell it; they would. I'd love to have a domestic company making good br brass. I just hope they do br instead of dasher. (I'm a brx guy )

Out in the loading room messing with the Peterson cases I received earlier this afternoon. I measured the primer pockets of all 50 cases. Well, 47 of them measured at .122 and the other 3 measured at .1225. The necks measured between .014-.0145. I have never gotten cases that uniform!! Hope I got the decimal point in the right place.

Talking to Ben at the Shot Show, we discussed the neck thickness and during the conversation, Ben smiled and told me that if I liked the neck before I would really like what's coming. Apparently they have it pretty well dialed in. It sounded to me that they were going to land at about .013 and extremely consistent.

I can't imagine they would make Dasher when so many cartridges are fire-formed from 6br. Besides, with the 6bra popularity now I bet at least half the Dasher shooters have switched. I know a bunch who have, including me. Dasher brass instead of br brass would be crazy.

I am friends with Derek and Terry Peterson. They have a lot of irons in the fire. Yes, 6BR is on its way from them (but not for awhile). They also have 243 brass that is ready to hit the site. I have been pushing for several calibers, however, it is not a overnight process for them. They are a very young company in the cartridge making realm. Every caliber cost ruffly $50,000-$75,000 to develop the tooling and mfg process to get the best quality possible. I have shot their 243 brass testing. Currently I have 10 loads on them and the pockets are still tight. Their quality control is very high and they strive to make the best brass on the market. They have the most up to date, state of the art equipment for cartridge making right now. Several big name people are involved with them, names that everyone on the site would know, and they are making brass for them. I have taken several guys from this site to the facility for a tour. Jigstick being one of them and Madmixerman another. If you have any questions regarding them ask or PM me and I will text Derek and get a answer.
