Shot Marker electronic target and RSI Shooting Lab software.

The Shot Marker target system produces a CSV file with various parameters such as X & Y offset, velocity, etc. RSI Shooting Lab allows the user to input strings of shots on target faces and analyze the results. What I'd like to know is if anyone has found a way to import the data from the Shot Marker CSV file into Shooting Lab? I asked Jim R about this but the answer was not what I'd call positive.

Put the question to Adam. I'd be surprised if there are that may RSI users out there who'd bring Adam's knowledgeability to the question.

It may be a more practical approach to get RSI's CSV data into an Excel or OpenOffice spreadsheet then bring the SM data in to work some kind of magic out of the combining. Adam's comfortable with spreadsheets & their analysis, ought to be able to point to a path going forward.

After all he's bright enough to have seen the potential value in an affordable ET system, fully capable of engineering one, then getting it out into the market he knew was already there & waiting! And he didn't have to quit his day job to do it either!

Update: I've e-mailed both Adam McDonald and Jim Ristow about this. Jim is thinking about an enhancement to ShootingLab that would allow direct import of ShotMarker's CSV file. Adam has provided some suggestions about alternate ways to get at the data. I've asked the keeper of the club's ShotMarker system to try accessing this alternately formatted data.
