Shot maker electronic system

I am still in the que to get one. Have not taken my name out. As I understand from this thread, the lead time has been quite long. Dont expect to hear anything till after the first of the year.
The e-targets are pretty accurate. Calibration is probably the biggest hurdle. Getting the shots to show up exactly where they land is a little tricky because one batch of targets to the next may be off dimensionally or measuring on a bullseye the exact distance away takes some effort.
That is what people complain about and it's a non issue because you only care about shooting to the center between the microphones. The bullseye now is just an aiming point for you. The shot marker would work with an empty wood frame.
If you need greater accuracy, there are some systems out there but they are not cost under a grand.
I especially like using one for ladder testing because it keeps track of your shot sequence.

So do I before SM and after verifying a load won't put holes in the frame it's full time with the SM!
Have you tried the SM group analysis feature? I did some testing on this and found it to be very accurate for the mean radius calculation as compared to my hand calculations. This is one more plus for SM.

We ordered our Shot Marker systems I believe in the beginning of May or maybe it was late Apiril (I forget). Got them end Sept/earl october. Adam has a long lead time because he is moving a lot of these.
As others have said how accurate your ET's are depend on your frames. We made welded aluminum frames for our older ET system we're replacing and took time to make sure everything was perfectly squared up and spaced the same. The plotted very well and expect the SMs to do the same. When I just slapped some sensors up on a wood frame 6 years ago here at the house the performance was less than stellar.

Ordered one in July when they had 4-8 wks lead time. 8 wks had gone no email, then 12 wks had gone. Last time I checked their website, lead time is 16 wks. Still waiting and I’ll know when mine is on the way when I get an email with a tracking number.
Closing the loop. Got the notification last week and package spent 3 days in New York perhaps for Customs. Package arrived today.
