contact them they will make it right
Yes I agree with dmoran but let them know they need to knowAs Mike says in Reply #2, contact them, there good about sending make ups. But highly unlikely they'll be from the same Lot, so kind of useless to even bother.

If they paid a guy minimum wage to look at each box as it went by for holes not filled, what do you expect that would add to the cost of the box. Absolutely mind bending that they continue to let this happen.I don't think I know of a screw up this serious and with such a simple fix. They have made it quite clear they don't care and I am shocked to see customers accepting this as "status quo".

Cool if you choose to, but not me. Not worth the risk of getting mixed with others, just to recoup 5 cases.naw use them for dummies, testing...lots of things to do with one case....heck it might even match!
Like others have said. How much more money would it cost you to have those counted? I bet it is more then the cost of the case or two you are misssing. Then you to account for the fact that the counter can make a mistake. Imagine the job of counting brass for 8 hours straight. I know I counted brass and made mistake counts when counting batches of 1000 and weighing them. If I am missing one case in a box of 100, it is roughly a dollar. I am not going to even bother about that dollar. Yes, they Will Replace it, but like Dusty and Donovan said, highly likely it will be the same lot. Now what good, will it do me? Matt
If a case is off by 2 grains average, it is not hard to lose a case. I have seen lots vary by as much as 10 grains on heavy cases like a WSM. I weigh all my cases and sit them in rows. I see the average changing from lot to lot. One grain of brass in a case gets lost and takes up almost no space at all. MattBoxes of brass are filled by weight.
Either the brass is heavy which is unlikely.
The plastic boxes are heavy. Very likely.
Or, the weighing scale is not calibrated properly. Also very likely.
If the boxes are filled using automated equipment, there's a problem with the settings.
If a human stands there filling boxes, then they didn't tare the scale properly. That equals laziness
