Shortages got me into air rifle target shooting.

I had a PCP sold it didn't like carrying the tank around getting it filled (no were around here) and having to get the tank certified. And my FWB 300s is recoiles

You too? I can’t seem to get it either! Maybe it’s genetic! Maybe age. I used to hunt pheasant. Shot a bunch when I was young. These days, I can’t hit a barn if I’m standing inside it!
I blame the component shortages and tell myself that they are leaving the shot out of the cartridges!! :D :D

Did anyone notice the article in American Rifleman about the US Olympic medalists? Will Shaner won gold in 10m Air Rifle using a custom Walther LG-400-E in a Pardini GPR1 stock. Noice!

Nice post , as I posted I'm fairly new to shooting Springer's , the HW97k is a nice rifle , if I get around to buying another the HW97k or the AA tx200 mklll will be next . I have the standard HW95 in .177 for nothing further then 25 meters so I'm only shooting through a peep sight . I will scopre the next rifle when the time comes. I. Shoot the H&N FTT 8.64 not a problem getting pellets but when I see out of stock , hope it doesn't spread to pellets . What's next slingshots , going back to the stone ages.

TX200 is to arrive Monday. I will be looking for the delivery truck. I looked at the HW97 also . Its also a good choice. My buddy who is a retired Engineer is seldom satisfied with much but loves his 2 TX200s. That was the tie breaker for me.Plus, I have seen his targets, piles of them, impressive.I'm looking forward to learning the best pellet then getting a skid.

I do favor the TX200 , I'm right handed but shoot left handed with rifles , I'm left eye dominant, never been a problem even with boolt actions . The left handed stock ( cheekweld ) is a option . When my time comes I may go all out and go with the TX200 mklll in Walnut left handed stock in .177 . After shooting the HW95 break barrel and seeing how accurate they are , I can imagine how accurate a fixed barrel underlever would be. I'm a one rifle guy , been shooting benchrest with the same 308 for 15 years by now with barrel changes of course . If I had any Idea these air rifle were that accurate I would have gone with the all out tx200. I feel your excitement , enjoy your 200 and let us know how it shoots.

Good luck with your future purchase. Underlevers are definitely the way to go (but avoid Hatsan underlevers). I've had great results with H&N Field and Trophy Green .177 pellets in the HW97k. I bought them initially because I didn't want the dog ingesting them, but they are amazingly accurate and fast. Only 5.71 grains, so if you intend pest control maybe the heavier leaded version would be a better choice. Enjoy.
