"If you want to shoot and compete at short-range groups, get a 6PPC and a 13.5 twist barrel and go shoot. If you want to shoot for score, get a 30BR.
Can a shooter Agg as well with 100-grain bullets? Very doubtful. A possible exception would be someone who is already a very good group shooter and has vast experience tuning whatever cartridge they are bringing to the game and the right conditions.
I’m pretty comfortable with the 6BRA, and I’ve played with it a little at short range. But it’s not a 6PPC or 30BR killer. In the right hands, with the right barrel and bullets, it's capable.
Bottom line, if you want to compete in short-range, get a 6PPC or 30BR, proper weight bullets, and twist barrels.
