Shopping for stocks - Remington 700

It seems that a stock for a long action, factory DM, factory sporter weight barrel, 700 BDL are harder to find than any other. Lol. If I had a hinged floor plate, things would be easier to come by. Hogue makes one..... other than that, I'm not having any luck. Who else makes a $300 and under pillar bedded stock for my setup?

Yes Jonbearman, their varmint hunter laminate stock looks nice. I need to see how much it would cost to get it bedded so I will know the total cost of the stock.

It doesnt take much to make a bdl stock fit a rem dm.

Just 2 notches milled into the stock where the side buttons are. I have done quite a few. Just follow the cutouts on the floorplate or the original stock

Another vote for Boyds. I really don't like Hogue stocks. They just feel bulky and cumbersome.
