Shooting glove vs rear bag...

So on another local forum I posted a question asking which rear bags people were using and recommended. I switched over relatively recently to chassis style setups on a couple of rifles and the rabbit ear style bags aren't working that great.

One poster responded with a shooting glove.

Can someone explain how this replaces a rear bag?

A padded glove can be used under a shouldered stock as a squeeze bag. Don't think it can keep up in today's competition but it's been done before. I just happen to keep one in my range bag still. You put your hand fingers down with the stock riding on the back side of the glove. It works on stocks specifically built with a wide platform better.

I've used my glove for service rifle and position shooting before, it's generally rigid enough to serve it's purpose, but seems more and more chassis systems are offing bag riders now for a reason.
