Okay - I have the latest from Sweden!

They have allocated production time to this and have promised to ship to us, by air, by the end of June this year. That means we should positively have them within the next 5 months. If they show up earlier I will post it, but worst case would be end of June.

This is probably the firmest I have heard from them regarding delivery of this brass. Thanks, for the patience.

Everything thus far has just been speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt. No actual dimensions until brass is produced. This is from what I have been told.

Tag. Good news! I meant to talk with them at SHOT myself but never made it over. Any idea about ordering or is there a preorder list? My Bighorn TL3 arrives in June as well, so the timing on this is perfect.

Shiraz, just wondering aloud here. Are we able to back-order brass on your website? If so, from what you can tell will sufficient quantities of brass be imported to cover the standing orders?

My understanding is the order is for 500,000 cases. I'd imagine the initial delivery will be 10,000 or so.

I doubt there are 1,000 barrels chambered in Dasher nationwide, let's not be greedy...

Killshot - I respect what your saying, but suggest your numbers are off.

Betting there is at least 10 times that many Dasher barrels nationwide.
I have 11 barrels myself and know guys that have more then me.

Also, wouldn't the freight on 10,000 brass not even make it worth while?
Again betting at least 10 times that many, if not the whole order at once.

There are at least 100 barrels in Dasher at Williamsport alone. Now throw in all the other 1000 yard clubs and the 600 yard and then you have F-Class and varmint hunters. It would be a figure way over 1000. Matt

Another thought is a lot of guys are going to stick with Lapua Brass. Some have a lot in stock, some won't switch, and some will wait to see if the pockets hold up. I know I am not trying them. I have about 1000 pieces of gold box. Matt

Personally I have my fingers crossed !.!.!
But do feel if they do not spec out larger (similar to Lapua) at the base then there current 6BR brass, they will not compliment most the Dasher chambers, and suffer to excessive webbing stretch as well.

Yes I hope they got it right. To me it is not that big of deal to fireform. They last a long time and you can practice or shoot groundhogs to form them. I have a Viper set up to just fireform. Tom has me convinced to try Hydro brass sometime this year. My buddy has the die. Matt
