Anxiously awaiting the time when we no longer need to fire/hydro form BR brass into Dasher Brass. Are there any up dates to when we could expect availability?

Re: Shirez; any update on Norma 6Dasher Brass?

I am waiting on a response from Sweden. As soon as I have something concrete, I will post it.

Thanks.

Thank you for the info, how do we get in line.

As soon as Shiraz announces that is available for pre-order at Bullets.com you can order and be in line. I pre-ordered early on the .284 brass and have already received it. Shiraz will be the first to announce it here. Be patient.

Nice first post!!

Really that's a real nice "look at me I'm new here"!
Why should he take a chance on sending stuff to a far left state that change their laws more often than some of you girls change your undies. The next thing he knows he is brought up on federal charges with the chance of loosing everything. If you don't like the way your state is vote to change things or get the hell out. Don't expect others to "check your particular zip code" to see if its ok TODAY. If they did that and he charged you for the time it took to find out then you would bitch about the extra cost and say why me. If you don't have nothing nice or informative to say keep your pie hole shut.

Sorry to all the others about the rant. I just get tired of the few thinking everyone else should cater to the few.

Rather than say things to the newbie out of a bit of ire, let's shout from the housetop of what "Shiraz / Bullets.com" has done for the shooting world. FIRST, he knows our sport and knew of the desire for excellent brass in BOTH the .284Win. and the 6MM Dasher. SECOND, he put his reputation, business AND money on the line. He went and sat down with Norma to MAKE happen, what all of us had wished for, for quite some time. THIRD, after the deal was done, knowing how anxious we were, he shipped 50,000 pieces of the .284 brass BY PLANE, instead of waiting for the ship to cross over the pond! NONE of this was anything less than a HUGE undertaking.

SO, Mr. Danbr, that is why I will do as much business as I can with Bullets.com! Shiraz went WAY OVER THE TOP to get to us a product we were all panting for! My hat is off to him. If he chooses not to sell in California, that is HIS business and I guarantee you he is not doing that because he wants to lose money! He is doing it because of some good business sense!

Well said, Ben.

Really, there are a lot of company's that ship here, in fact this is the first that I've come across,in fact I have purchased reloading supplies from them, included some ammo on my last order that's when I found out, not to California it's too much trouble well guess what your state might be next , I don't know if this is the only state do you? I cannot support a company wants to hide in the shadows and not fight for what's right but that's my choice, don't worry I'm sure none of this will come in your direction

Dan,
Lot's of company's included I one I work for elect not do business in CA. Some major CA tech company's are relocation to TX and other states....you know why. You also know that CA residents to not have the same gun and ammunition rights as most of the other States. CA is a beautiful, but it us a PITA for most companies to do business in CA and the cost and regulations to do business are out of control.

How would he be indicted on Federal charges for violating a state law? [br]
You also might consider learning the difference between "loosing" and "losing". These two gerunds look similar but are not the same.

Your fight isn't with Bullets.com or any other business that chooses correctly IMO to not risk their business by shipping to CA.

Your fight is with your own law makers. Do you vote? Do you support the NRA do you email and lobby your representatives?
Sorry to see it but,The people of California have chosen their representatives

You right you got me on the federal charges should have been state. As far as the typing error I guess I'm just not as good at as you are.

Not a matter of being good or bad but knowing how to speak my native language. And, since you seem willing to dispense political advice, here's some for you. Stop paying your union dues. 92% of the $7M Pipefitters spent in the 2014 cycle went to Democrats. There are damn few Democrats left who support gun rights. Here are a few from California and the amounts they received from your union. [br]

Aguilar, Pete (D-CA) $10,000
Bass, Karen (D-CA) $5,000
Becerra, Xavier (D-CA) $5,000
Brownley, Julia (D-CA) $10,000
Cardenas, Tony (D-CA) $10,000
Chu, Judy (D-CA) $7,500
Costa, Jim (D-CA) $5,000
Davis, Susan A (D-CA) $5,000
Desaulnier, Mark (D-CA) $5,000
Eggman, Michael (D-CA) $10,000
Garamendi, John (D-CA) $5,000
Greuel, Wendy (D-CA) $5,000
Hahn, Janice (D-CA) $5,000
Honda, Mike (D-CA) $2,500
Huffman, Jared (D-CA) $7,500
Lowenthal, Alan (D-CA) $10,000
McNerney, Jerry (D-CA) $7,500
Miller, George (D-CA) $2,500
Pelosi, Nancy (D-CA) $5,000
Peters, Scott (D-CA) $5,000
Renteria, Amanda (D-CA) $5,000
Rogers, Lee C (D-CA) $5,000
Roybal-Allard, Lucille (D-CA) $5,000
Ruiz, Raul (D-CA) $10,000
Sanchez, Linda (D-CA) $10,000
Sanchez, Loretta (D-CA) $10,000
Sherman, Brad (D-CA) $10,000
Swalwell, Eric (D-CA) $7,500
Takano, Mark (D-CA) $5,000
Vargas, Juan (D-CA) $5,000
Waters, Maxine (D-CA) $5,000 [br]
Those California Democrats include some really bad actors. They did give to a few Republicans in the House, but none in the Senate. Among the Senators favored by your union are: [br]
Durbin, Dick (D-IL) $8,750
Franken, Al (D-MN) $7,500
Harkin, Tom (D-IA) $5,000
Markey, Ed (D-MA) $10,000 [br]
You may recognize those names. Not a Second Amendment supporter among them. The moral of this story is not to throw stones unless you are outside your glass house. We have the same problem as other states with very large, urban centers. Our state is dominated by leftist, urban Democrats. But don't assume that is universal. We have five 1000 yard ranges in California where NRA matches are held. We have a large and active shooting community and we do vote. We are simply outnumbered. Sure, retreat in the face of overwhelming odds is a viable strategy. Some of us are just not inclined to do that.

Steve job well done ! It isnt easy here being behind the Calif Iron Curtain with every ars from free states saying we voted for what we have. Think of the East Coast from NY to South Carolina being 1 state and NY libs making laws for the rest of the state? Thats what we have here in Calif. When I was in the army we had a saying" no man left behind" Guess that doesnt apply to gun rights ? Leave behind your brother because he is from another State. Union pipefitter local 342 thanks for your support. I do support unions period! Not the Calif Bashing. >:(

From one mistake, which I guess you never make to a typing error to you being concerned how I make my living. Union pipefitting is how I make my living, I don't know to many non union pipefitters that make as much as we do. Is the pipefitters union the answer to problem? No. But its the way I make my living. So to offset some of the money that they give away, which I don't agree to I donated a little over $5000 to the NRA last year. Just a drop in the bucket compared to the 7million (according to you) the AFL-CIO contributed to the Democraps. Its what I could afford. By the way how much did you donate to the NRA last year. Just how long did it take you to come up with this post I think you need something else to do besides worry about how I make my living. I think from now on I will support more of the businesses that don't ship to CA. I hope my spelling and grammar was adequate for you this time. I wouldn't want to offend you in any way.

Sorry everyone but I am done with this thread.

You are fully aware that it was not about your inept language use, but about your admonition "If you don't like the way your state is vote to change things or get the hell out." You have no idea whether he votes or not. If you had simply addressed his demand that Bullets.com ship ammo to him, despite the somewhat ambiguous actions of our legislature, we would not have this exchange. Instead, you escalated to a self-professed "rant" about other matters which apparently disturb you. [br]
As for spending too much time finding publicly available data and collating it; no, it was trivial and only took a few minutes. It just seems difficult because you have no idea how it is done. And, the $7M figure is only for the Plumbers/Pipefitters Union and only for their PAC spending. The amounts extorted from members and doled to left-wing politicians by AFL-CIO, collectively, is surpassingly greater. If unions are so wonderful, why do their memberships drop drastically and immediately after right-to-work laws are passed? Right-to-work will eventually pass in PA, too, just as the small project prevailing wage exemption did. That will be a good day. :)
