Shipping - Who should I use.

wow thats a long one. I knew there were many more besides me.

i went to the post office after 6 weeks and they just looked at me and said (rolling his eyes) once it hits the center we have no control after that. Thankfully the customer under stood and I mailed him another product. It arrived on time but the first one is gone.

and youre out the money- was it insured and could you collect?

I am waiting on a package shipped from Ohio on December 16 and scheduled to arrive on the 24th. The package is still sitting in a post office in Ohio. Not the best time to ship with USPS. However, I have used them in the past regularly with few complaints.

I have a Midway order coming to Texas, it went to SC and stopped for 4 days, it then went to Florida, back to Mo and then to Georgia to vanish. It’s almost like they thought it was full of fake ballots they were trying to hide. That was over the course of 19 days, obviously the order was full of back ordered items they don’t have any more of LOL

No, it was product that I make and sell. The customer was a repeat one so I still made money in the long run. Part of doing business

I ship several packages a week by USPS Priority Mail. I have been doing this for 20 years. They have never lost a package. I use new boxes and print bar codes labels. You cannot beat the price to send something via air.

I have had packages go missing for a while and I suspect they got onto the wrong airplane. They always get to the destination eventually.

I'm not the least bit happy with postal service package going on 3 weeks from va. One state over from me package never had moved Covid is there excuse bah humbug.

A guy sent me a barrel just last week USPS and it only took a couple of days from mid country to west.

I have always used FedEx Ground for long guns. They are usually easier to deal with than UPS. I always generate my label online.

I received one of my USPS packages that has been lost and it should should have stayed lost, the box showed up empty with this sticker on it. Someone got 500 ballistic tips for free..

I usually ship USPS and they are so backlogged/ messed up--- Ive got one thing right now thats been out there somewhere over 2 weeks

Lightweight. I've got a USPS package that's been touring Missouri for 4 weeks.

UPS and Fedex are running on time for me.

Ditto on USPS. Took 19 days to get a trigger Priority Mail from 2 states away. Still waiting on a stock shipped 11/26 from Ohio (didn't show movement out of the state until Dec. 30). I think USPS took advantage of the covid thing to do as little as possible that they could get by with. UPS and Fedex also have employees that are vulnerable to the virus, but they managed to do business as usual for the most part.

By USPS I received a trigger a few weeks ago and it only took a couple days to get to me from a state away. during the same time period i sent a trigger two states away and it took over 2 weeks to get there, Ya just never know

Ive had boxes come with holes in them to. Im lucky Never lost much.

Like you I have never had a package lost forever. Some took a long time though. I to use new priority boxes but many times i just write out the label. I think there may be something to printing them out with the barcode that would help matters.

Don’t want to muddy the waters here, but I dropped off a scope at USPS, insured, priority mail. Shipped from rural Nebraska to California. It made it on time, kinda surprised me.

Have a love/hate relationship with Midway shipping. I ordered a cartridge belt 12/19, out of stock backorder OK. Notified it was in stock and shipped 12/21, tracking showed delivery date of 12/25 (knew that wasn't happening), and it finally arrived 12/30. Turned out the cartridge belt was too small (item sizing description was incorrect), so processed a return (painless) and re-ordered. Cartridge belt was now on sale, needed less than $1 to qualify for free shipping over $49 so added Nosler #9, order processed 4pm, shipped 9:24pm, estimated delivery date 1/11 actual delivery was 1/4.

Cartridge belt, shipping, and tax was $71.17 and 12 days to my mailbox. (normal for me)
Replacement belt and Nosler manual was $80 and 5 days to my mailbox. (abnormal for me)

Like Hoz53 says, "ya just never know".
