better than the 40% increase in fuel prices
everythings gone up considerably last 2 years
and I've only raised my labor rates $10/hr so far
Shipping prices and fuel have a lot to do with things

Yeah. But housing prices are really dependent on market conditions. They can fall 20% in a few months in a recession.

Yes, they pull my old orders and duplicate the barrel. I install myself. Like I said , it shoots better than me. I only shoot one gun for both LG and HG . Picked up as many bowling trophies in HG with my LG.

I ordered a Savage Varmint prefit 6BR one last night from Midway of all places. Surprised to see one in stock for a fair price.
They also had both PTG gauges in stock.

Who is shooting shilen these days

Had a shilen for my hit pro m3 6 dasher. Shot great!

I have had two Shilen, ultra match, rachet rifled barrels that I used for F-class. They both shot under 1/2 MOA. The other Shilen barrels I used were all well under 1 MOA. If I built another rifle, that is the only barrel I would use. I have a Krieger custom match barrel that I shoot and it is a 1/2 MOA barrel also.

I’ll have to say after just receiving this barrel and never having seen a Shilen prefit before, I’m impressed. Packaged very well from Shilen and great recessed crown and smooth finish on all.

I have two Shilens that shoot nicely under 1/2 MOA at 100 or 200 if I do my part. Using dedicated Lapua and Starline brass for my serious loads. Winchester brass for fun/practice but that brass is not consistently under 1/2 MOA in 223 rifle. Both barrels are ratchet rifling, SS ultras, 4 groove. The 223 was chambered by Shilen for me to bolt onto a Rem 700 action, A8 contour. It is very heavy. The 30 is chambered for 30 Major, contour as speced by my gunsmith.
I have been told that trying to improve 22 rimfire barrels for benchrest started Shilen's design for ratchet rifling. Now it's available in several calibers. It does seem to clean up better and faster than conventional rifling.

I have a RF and a CF and yep, they clean up as you've noticed. Impressive. JME. WD
