Here are the centerfire rifles which explicitly pass the current awb proposal in the senate.
lol at nylon 66 on the list.
This doesn't mean there aren't others which pass but are new or overlooked.

I believe su-16 is on the ban list but it's not clear why.

as far as I know only the hk630 and the mini14 are chambered in 223

Probably best to stick with an AR. Joe says bullets fly out of those 5 times faster than any other rifle.

Even the 336 marlin comes in different lengths like regular carbine and carbine. Its all about the length
