Seeking info. regarding 6mm barrel diameter .236 or .237?

I am considering a Krieger 6mm barrel. They list two diameters: .236 and .237. I would appreciate any input as to which might be best for a varmint/target rifle.

The .236 will destroy SOME bullet jackets. Stick with the .237 to be safe.
Pressure spikes in my buddy's DX freaked me out. Mine seems ok, but I load it a lot softer, and stick to 95gr bullets. (wasting my 8 twist)

My last 3 6mm F Open barrels were a .237" Bartlein 5R, .236" Krieger 4 groove and currently a .237" Broughton 5C. I found absolutely no, nada, zip difference in performance or in how they pressure up.

I'm 99.9% certain that 1000yd records have been recently set with both and shooting the same bullets. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

My varmint gun in 6BR had a Krieger 236 barrel. I wore it out and recently replaced with a 237, because it was in stock at Bruno's.
I only have 115 rounds thru the new barrel, but the velocities are similar to within 25fps, strangely enough, the 237 barrel needs about 1/2 grain more powder to make the same velocity. It may speed up a little. Still working out a load and seating depth, but they booth shoot about the same sized groups.

Thanks for you input.

There is so much more going on than bore diameter. Land to groove ratio, groove diameter, land width, land & groove shape/geometry like ratchet and cutter radius. You cant compare a Brux 236 to a Kriger 236 for example. And every barrel is slightly different, every time the cutter is sharpened, ext. A bore scope can tell you a lot about how the barrel is going to act so far as pressure curve. In a Krieger I prefer a 237 but I know of great results on the 236 as well. The bore diam is one dimension of many that vary.

I did ask above if anybody has checked their barrel with a pin gauge? I've seen .237 barrels measure .2366 and .236 barrels measure .2365. Of course I have measured some that are above the nominal size also. Very dang few will be exactly .236 or .237
