Seb rest part

Silver $$ Contributor
I found a seb, actually 2 sebs.
One with the weight on the front and one without.
I'm looking at one without. It has the small leg and it has the empty hole that a bearing foot goes in but no bearing foot. Nowhere on sebs pages do i see accessories. Are these after market?

And which rest do you think is best.
Counter weight or not ?

I've had both, but prefer the Ratigan with the counter weight. Parts are available from Erine Bishop, SEB USA

Counter weight adds a very nice balance to the joystick when your rifle is on it. Much smoother for me

Yes neo. I started looking and wound up with two. One is the Ratigan and one is not. I've not shot off the Ratigan yet. I guess I'll see for myself if it holds my 17 LG. I don't have anything heavier.
I'm gonna sell a Farley II and a Randolf.

Until you use the, you’ll never know…
One has lift springs the other doesn’t..
At little search feature works on this site… to answer all your questions…

Light gun of 16.9oz- no wts
HG of 85lb- one wt all the way out..

You got use them to see what suits you, tension can matter too… crank’m down a little

The part in question aka the picture ...
Was a forend stop upside down in the pic. ...
Lmao !
Btw i know how to search plenty well !

I shot my 17 lb and had the weight about half way. No problem. Gonna shoot 13.5 & 10lb Sat. The weight will probably come toward the rest another spot or two

I rebuilt mine as I purchased an old one and Ernie was a big help.
It came out amazing....and has the Ratigan style counterweight as well.
Works good for my needs.
