Because 12 out of my 15 rifles are a RBLPRE configuration. My NEO is set up with an ammo holder mounted on the left side for all of my 30 caliber chamberings. The Lenzi rest is only offered with a PPC ammo holder and that does me no good. When Roberto offers one or somebody makes an aftermarket one then I'll use the Lenzi at matches. I'm a runner not a picker. If there's a condition that is holding I can usually shoot 5 shots on a score target in less than 8 seconds so I need the ammo holder right beside that left port. I guess I could make one if I wanted to. I have accesses to my neighbors complete machine shop at the bottom of my road. Why?
Got in touch with Roberto last January and ordered a custom two tone one. I'd give the edge on smoothness to the Lenzi. Weight is 25LBS 1.3 oz with the counterweight vs 25LBS 14.7oz with the NEO with the counterweight. The nice thing about the Lenzi rest is that it is easier to tune because it only has 1 tension screw instead of 2 like the NEO and Farleys. It also has more travel than a Farley or a NEO. I use the same case to haul the Lenzi that I haul the NEO around in a Pelican Storm iM2620. With me being a full blooded wop, I just had to have one. Only thing I have to say is e'un' opera d'arte. Italian for it's a work of art.
Ya the Dago's make some stylish stuff. Just look at the sports cars they produce. Same with clothing. You can't beat an Italian suit and shoes.Holy crap that is one nice looking Rest. As a Dago myself - Italian and Iberian - I have to say if there’s anything the Southern Europeans do well it's stylish design. There’s something I’d be proud to break out at the range...

Have you purchased a lab since this post ?You know Wes your right for the most part. One new thing that I didn't buy was a Labradar. Just didn't appeal to me. My 35P does all I want it to do which is finding velocity nodes and testing new lots of powder to see how much spread there is over the previous lot that I was using. Other than that I don't care what features a Labradar has over a 35P.
No I will never own one of them. The 35P does everything I need it to do.Have you purchased a lab since this post ?
Fair enough. No I will never own one of them. The 35P does everything I need it to do.
