Seb Mini X movement

Has anyone had issues with the rear single leg loading and unloading moving the rest up and down.
When rifle is moved back and forth in the rest there seems to be a lot of movement.
I’ve tried flattening the legs without improving the movement.

Thanks

My miniX8” doesn’t move… I’ve used a maxi tracker - to- a little CZ varmint 22LR rifle on it.. haven’t seen it move w/ a dial indicator… YES, I checked…

I wanted to be sure my 87 lb maxi tracker was solid on it- I do use a wt out front of the stick w/ it..

Yes even the a NEO X HAS a front to rear movement on top plate with side tension.
Both y’all need to adjust something, I seen / played w/ several & they are rock solid…NeoX models… not sure what.. there shouldn’t be any movement once the levers are locked..

Y’all must be pushing them off the bench with your shoulders pinned to the butt of the rifle

Moving the two legs back and one to the front showed some improvement.
Today I tried running slightly more angle on the tripod, about a 12 to 13 degree leg angle. Seemed the flatter the interference angle the more the movement.
I might just be expecting more from the rest than capable. Good excuse to move up to a Neo or something similar.

Thanks for the input.

Thats the beauty of the rotating head, being able to orient the legs so forward pressure on the stop is much less of an issue........I have the 6" top showing up today according to the tracking#.

Regards
Rick

How tight are you squeezing the forend in the front bag setup? The rear should not move on recoil (and physically force the rear down) but when the rifle is put forward , back into battery, you' may be driving the rear upward if too tight in the bag.

Looking at some of these set up I am surprised.
No added feet to the Mini's ?
I have F/Class Products Spick Ground Feet for Prone use.
I have McMaster Carr self leveling Rubber bottom feet for Bench or Cement use.

Just not use to seeing them used in this way ?
My Grizzly/Shade Tree had Rubber Feet.

And No my Mini is sold.

When I was fortunate to shoot off of concrete benches I always used rubber feet. When I started shooting here in FL. all clubs have wooden benches. I don’t see anyone using feet.
