Scott Parker Scale Tuning

One might infer from the lack of first names and proper introductions, that the signatory simply didn’t want to assume a level of familiarity that wasn’t established. Some people upon finding a $100 bill in the street will complain that Benjamin Franklin was not smiling at them…
If I found a $100 bill on the street I would give it back to the owner, and not hold onto it.

Assuming you knew whom to return it, of course. But I think the illustration/metaphor holds its own. If somehow, I have left the casual reader believing otherwise, it was certainly not my intent. Fault is like fools gold, always to be found by those desperately seeking it.

I haven’t been a forum member very long I guess but when I joined I thought you had to agree not to Badger, bully, threaten or belittle other members?…
I had to scroll back to the top of the page to see which forum I was on!…. Thought I accidentally logged into Snipers Hide!….

There’s about four threads going on right now that have gotten rotten. Come on guys, let’s keep this place enjoyable.

My message for Scott Parker is from now on only sell tuned classic beam scales you have in stock ready to ship. And accept payment via a conventional way like PayPal, which offers buyer protection. If someone requests a tune up on their scale, then only offer to take it in as a core credit for a like one you already have sitting on the shelf. End of problems!!

Thank you for your constructive advice.

That is my setup. Just aim a webcam at the pointer and run it through my laptop, and there you have it.

I have a collection of powder throwers that function in different ways, I will choose one to use for a reloading session to fill the pan......Gotta' Keep It Fun......

Parker tuned scales ( I have 2 ) are a pleasure to use.......

Regards
Rick

Seriously a feature or lack of 1 so to speak is the pan hanger/weighted pan that your charge pan rests on.
With the Redding it just has the wire hanger. Zero chance of a kernel or 2 of powder laying in the screw slot.
I have two of these green bodied #1s with matching pans and two Dandy tricklers. Now to figure out the right sequence and rhythm.

I am trying to purchase a nice 505 I dont need it I just want it in my collection. My name is Ken and I have a problem.............hahahahahahaha.

Mr Parker............is it true the 505 line of scales is better to use for smaller powder charges. That the 10/10 line of scales is more for larger rifle type charges?
