Scope zero after hunting trip

My experience with Leupold holding POA is "iffy" I've had some that held great and some that left alot to be desired.

Did you remove/install suppressor in between shots at max range during testing? Most remove suppressor for travel, occasionally there can be poi issues.

yep installing it back on without witness marks or measured could cause a big point of impact shift or maybe not, never had one but one never knows

More than likely it is probably a minor ring shift or suppressor shift and not the scope. I’m getting ready for an out of state move plus I have a new barrel for that action. So I don’t have the time or a free gun to do some testing. I’ve got a few months on the new barrel. I’m going to part ways with the scope since I won’t be using it anyways. Mostly for a confidence standpoint

The temperature change from Texas to Colorado could have caused the action screw to have loosen a bit and made a base change in the entire rifle. You get back to Texas to higher temps and it locks back up to different POI.
