For those that are thinking about upgrading your scope if the proposed NBRSA HTR-class weight limit change from 10 lbm to 10.5 lbm is approved, what scope(s) do you favor and why? Other than weight what features are the highest priority for you?
For example, IMO I’m not sure if the finer click adjustments (1/8 or 1/10 moa, or 0.05 mil) are very important at 6X. Adjustable parallax still seems important. Assuming you have a variable power, having 6X marked on the dial by the manufacturer seems important to demonstrate you are complying with the X limit. Clear glass, reticle easy to see but not too big, etc. I’m pretty new to shooting HTR, so I am very interested in the more experienced shooters thoughts.
