Scope Search

I have an old friend who has been an active competitive shooter for about fifty years. Age has taken its toll on his body and he cannot lower his head far enough to sight through a scope. Imagine yourself with a love of shooting sports but you can't get behind a scope. I'd like to find a solution and I'm wondering if anyone knows where I might find a scope with an angled ocular lens, similar to what you might find on a spotting scope.
This guy has taught me more about shooting than anyone else in my life and I'd like to find a way to help him.

What about a 90 degree adaptor with a mirror at 45 deg inside? Tell me what scope he has and the OD of the scope and I will play around in the shop and see if something might work. Would need to shoot it from something like a lead sled while standing next to it.

Or what about mounting a camera behind the scope and running a little monitor on the side if he wants to stay prone.

I can't help with an eye piece
I replied to the other post but I'll put it here also.
Check out the high scope mounts for short range rail guns. Taking up shooting a Railgun wouldn't be a bad idea. If you can help him set it up they are heavy.
A lot more challenging than some believe. It's not an easy thing to shoot tiny 10 shot groups

Google Iscope...not exactly precision made or anything but something like this might help.

That could work if the gentleman could still shoulder the rifle while using it.

Thanks, guys. Some very good suggestions here.
I believe the I-Phone gizmo might work out the best, especially for a bench rest situation.
I'll look into that first.

I would certainly look into the iscope. One thing I would recommend is looking to the back plates as well. That way you can fit it to your particular phone model.

for Iphone 5 - http://fishhuntandcamp.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=913&search=iscope&description=true&page=2

For example: Attachment for Samsung Galaxy s4 - http://fishhuntandcamp.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=5060&search=iscope&description=true&page=2

Anything else call them for the particulars. Good luck and let us know how it goes!!

Aimpoint makes their CEU (Concealed engagement unit) that is exactly what you are describing. It is a small rail mounted prism, that allows the shooter to hold the rifle at a 90 degree angle and still see the reticle to shoot. Might be worth checking out.

There is adaptors for phones, then there is a scipe made with a screen... dont know what its called or how much, or how precise it is.. im sure its not a BR scope... but my blind buddy hunts with one on his rifle for another person to aim with and tell him how to adjust..
