Angled Ocular

I have an old friend who has been an active competitive shooter for about fifty years. Age has taken its toll on his body and he cannot lower his head far enough to sight through a scope. Imagine yourself with a love of shooting sports but you can't get behind a scope. I'd like to find a solution and I'm wondering if anyone knows where I might find a scope with an angled ocular lens, similar to what you might find on a spotting scope.
This guy has taught me more about shooting than anyone else in my life and I'd like to find a way to help him.

I can't help with an angled eye piece.
What about a tall scope mount like a tall riser you see on short range rail guns.
Some of them are 6" high or higher. I'll look for a pic.
Taking up shooting a rail altogether wouldn't be a bad idea.
A lot of guys don't fully appreciate that it's not an easy thing to shoot tiny 10 shot groups.

Hope it helps

Tim

I would look at the adapter mounts for smart phones. He might be able to look at the screen from an angle that works for him. Combine that with a dead shot mag field pod and you would have a pretty "handicapable" shooting rig. Mount the scope as far forward as you can.

There was a YouTube on the dead shot magnum field pod that showed this setup.

Wasn't using optics but a few years ago a Palma shooter from Japan shot Midwest Palma at Winnequah Gun Club using some kind of prism device secured behind his rear aperture. Looked odd to see him in position but looking down at his sight rather than the usual prone position.

I'd have to think that with some Yankee creativity something similar would be possible using maybe a telescope prism or heck, maybe even a digital camera @ monitor arrangement? Kinda like with newer borescopes....

Some very creative ideas here and I am grateful for all of them. Thanks guys ..... I think I've got a path to follow.
