Scope rings and mounts

Greetings, I'm searching for a set of rings and bases for a 6.5 rifle, but I'm looking for something elegant. The tactical sets are too bulky for what I'm looking for and the size of the scope (nightforce benchrest 8x32x56). I have scoured the net and can only find massive tactical units for a picatinny rail. I'd rather find a subtle two piece set that has some attractive lines that flow with rifle.
TIA

It all depends what bases you want to use. If you want to go picatinny, chances are they are going to be large/bulky as the name of the game is robust/durable/heavy duty. Weaver type bases are more for sporting vs. tactical and would have more svelte ring choices.

The lowest/profile rings I can think of for a picatinny rail are a set of Warnes, if you are a fan of vertically split rings. I have used several picatinny rings but am not sure if they would meet your cosmetic criteria. Harrell's are more low profile but I have never used them.

What action are you using? I have a Bat Mulit-Flat action and have a Kelby base and Kelby 2 screw rings that have a " multi-flat " look to them and I think that ring/action set-up compliment eachother. If you have a round action I think a ring like a Signature Z ring or something else with that smooth simple profile looks good...... ;)

Look at the Warne rings. Very good quality and look good also. They are steel & that is what you need to hold up a big/heavy scope like that. They have QD and regular. The QD are very nice, I have them on several rifles. On & off without zero loss.
