Scope Ring Marks

I'm one of those guys who uses the Burris Signature Rings with the inserts ; and some seven years , and thousands of TR Rounds later , neither of my scopes have moved , or have any Ring Marks in them , as I went through eight barrels . They were recommended to me by my GS , and it was the best piece of advice he ever gave me . 18 inch pounds with a torque wrench does it .
