scope MFG companies new reticles ?

I am just starting to get into long range shooting. Done some prairie dog hunting in ND when I lived there for 5 years and just now starting to get into 600 to 1000 yard shooting. Have not shot in any rifle meets yet ( not sure that is the term you use , ha ha ha ). Anyway shooting sport people wither you are a hunter or target shooter the participants are getting older. I am 57 and don't see like I use too. I hope in the next few years we see the big scope manufacturing companies come out with more types of reticles for high power scopes. I feel for me and my type of shooting there could be more choices. I sent my T36 into Optics
Service company in NM and they did a great job. I think doubling my thickness of cross hairs and I think putting a 1/4 dot on my scope. Wow what a difference on how I can see target and get on target now

1...I wish some scope company would come out with a 100x power scope at a good price. I would think some one could go make it for a price that the average consumer could afford ,maybe $1000.00. I think the volume of scopes sold could get the cost down ?

2.....I would like to see a LR scope with thicker cross hairs and larger dot and or a larger illuminated single dot for the older shooter. I see all if these moa and mill dot , hash mark scopes and I understand that is what all the pros use but there is a lot of us old guys that are looking for just standard cross hair with a good size dot and you can turn turret down on a custom made drop down turret. Just don't want all that clutter in the glass.
Do you think we will see some different reticles and higher power scopes in the near future from nightforce , sightron , leupold , vortex , etc ? Thanks. Martyd

T36 is a hard on bad eyes , There are plenty of thick reticles on the market realy no need to reinvent the wheel.

try looking tough some quality glass and the difference is like night and day from a T36 , considering you have some eyesight issues ,high magnification is not the way to go. High end scopes take cheap scopes even at minimal magnifications( a quality scope will let you see at 15x what you can't resolve at 36x with T36 ,plus have quality diopters to adjust for you eye.

Some time ago when I was much younger on occasion when shooting the yellow bellied marmot, or rock chuck we used a "team scope" - it was mounted on a tripod, it weighed 35 pounds (+-), had an objective lens about 100-150 mm in diameter, and was about 65X. I don't see why something like that could be made with a reticle and adjustments but imagine what the mounting system including rings and bases would look like. Possibly, the rifle would be mounted on the scope - or suspended under the scope.

Tiny varmints hide behind fat reticles making them difficult to shoot.

My Weaver T24 has enough magnification and using the tiny 1/8 moa dot at 600 yards it covers about .75 inches and only the most tiny varmint can hide behind that - provided you can see and have the ability to hit a target less than one inch - I would guess the average prairie dog's head is about 2.5 inches wide and at 600 yards PD's are real small.
