Scope base for a Mauser

Hey fellas

I’ve been tasked with mounting a new scope on a post war build probably dating back to the 50s or 60s. It maybe a factory sporter I honestly don’t know. I will attach pictures of all the numbers. I need a proper base preferably one piece. Most of what I’m finding are list as fitting 98 Mauser and I’m pretty sure this rifle is not one of those. It looks exactly like the rifle in the 2nd picture which is listed as a CZ (BRNO), Czech Model 21F, 8x57

Please help if you can.

Thanks 7D8B9E1F-E4D8-44FB-AB8A-06F8A166D216.jpeg596043FD-6896-491B-B525-4CE6320C8FE3.jpegEB0E0512-CB33-4551-B6CB-BDFF7F112234.jpegB4614FC0-35F3-46C5-9A80-8C91E3DF1F05.jpeg

That’s a commercial mauser in the majority of the pics
I have an extra redfield one piece base if your interested. Uses leaupold/ redfield type rings
There’s a difference between the commercial base and the 98 military base
The holes are further apart and there is a cutout for the stripper clip guide.
The second pic is a military 98
It looks like it has a stripper clip guide

Well the second picture is one I stole from an ad on Guns America. The seller listed it as the CZ BR Czech model 21F ??????

That is a CZ commercial post war small ring std length. You will need to use large ring std length and shim the front . You need to check when mounting by first using machinist clamps at the front ring and see if the rear is proud then the rear ring and see if the front is proud . At one time a base for std length small ring was made , long long ago . Use weaver , aluminum or steel , 2 piece . Just make sure you DO NOT DRILL YOUR FRONT HOLE IN THE BOLT LOCKING LUG !

They look like realist or parker hale rolloff mounts . Id just make / modify rings to fit the bases already on it . These were not sold drilled and tapped for scope bases . Yes they had charger guides .

Heres one of the bottom side I added bases to . With some period advertisements

^^^
Interesting. Wonder if the OP's rifle has the set trigger?
Tried to look this up in Ball's book but alas...no commercial models from any country listed.

Of the two I worked on , one of each model listed , both in 7x57 and both had set triggers
