Schmidt & Bender PMII delivers! (FILM)

I'm frequently asked how good my S&B PMII scope is, if it is the best and if there are better scopes. That's impossible for me to answer lacking the measurement tools. However, I have never had to refrain from using an opportunity due my scope.

On this trip I got the less than favorable combination of dusk, fog and downpour - at the same time. Still, with A LOT of help from the dog and good use of the binos we were able to get the shots.

My conclusion would be the PMII scope is "good enough".

Not tried the PMII but it sure does not seem to hinder your hunting sucsess :P

As always your videos are simply fantastic!

Ps, what suppressor are you using?

I have to admit, I have been a BIG Nightforce fan for years and always will be. I have had the oppertunity to spend a lot of time behind some of the best. I have extensive use with the Zeiss Diavari/Victory 6-24x56, Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 (2 of them), Hensoldt 4-16x56, older IOR's tactical (I would like to try the new ones gen4 I think), Leupold MK4, Vortex Razor 5-20x50, and other better Japanese made optics, and of course S&B PMII 5-25x56 (2 of them) and a 4-16x50. After being able to use all these in a wide range of conditions from 50 yards to 1200 yards my self and my shooting partner have decided the PMII is where it is at. You may not see the difference at short range in good air but take them out to distance in bad air and the Bender will shine through optically. Now this is not to say the other scopes mentioned here are not quality b/c they are! I have never had one of the above scopes not track ot have any mechanical problem at all. Also the other scopes mentioned are all very good optically but the Bender PMII is better IMO.

I'm Scandinavian but not finnish. Norwegian - less sauna and more fiords.

My suppressor is the Atec CTM 4 (for hunting) and the Atec Maxim Titanium (for the range). Both are simply superb tools.

Thanks for the kind comments. I have two more hunting films in the making and two more shooting films planned.
