Savage Striker Bedding

While planning my next project gun (Savage Striker) I notice there is a challenge for bedding improvement. Since the trigger mechanism interferes with the bedding area behind the trigger, does anyone have suggestions on the best way to bed this area of the stock?

As always, the experience of others is greatly appreciated.

If you are talking about bedding the factory plastic stock then please ignor the rear bedding.

You have an area .375 wide with a bevel on the back by .750 long on material that normally stuff doesn't easily adher to. Savage is not like Remington. One must float the rear tang. Yes there is an exception but after a couple of times chasing my bullets all over creation I started floating the tang like it comes from the factory and we started shooting little tiny groups.

Use a dremel and rough up and drill holes sideways in the front action perch area. This will allow one to have a mecchanical wedge to hold the bedding material in place. If one will use a skim of super glue on these plastic stocks then most bedding materials will then adhere.
