Savage restock ideas

I have a savage short action with that Tupperware stock 243ai shilen barrel and would like to restock any ideas on what stock. I don't want a real heavy stock its a carry varmint rifle thanks.

Comes with pillars installed. You'll have to order a new narrow trigger guard like the one on a model BVSS to fit this or ANY laminate stock. For the life of me I cannot remember the part number of the trigger guard, they come in stainless or matte black.

Shoots very small groups off a bipod, and is plug and play unless you prefer to bed it too - though not really needed for varmint shooting.

I've restocked one of my older Stagger feed Savages with an HS Precision... Love it! But, I've got HSP stocks on numerous Remington 700's also!!!!! The other one I found a new-old-stock Laminated VLP stock, it's very nice also, but, a bit heavier. Idaho-45
