Savage pattern - 6x47L, 6creedmoor, 6 SLR, 6 xc, or 6CM?

I have a savage short action inbound. Next up is a barrel. What should I choose? I will be shooting up to 1250 yards and possible local matches (bench/prone and possible tactical type). The first two options are easy to get pre fits but if the others are a better choice then who can set one up?

That's a question with many choices.
1) Are you reloading for it? I'd assume u are.
2) single feed or repeater?
3) pick something w/ excellent Brass Quality
4) want to neck turn or not?
5) chamber set-up plays a role when picking cartridge.

These are things I ponder on before picking a cartridge for BR and ask yourself which one is the best in fuel efficiency and doesn't ride high on the pressures to obtain 2950-3k with said bullet.
Also throw the DASHER in the mix.
My personal choices go like this
1)6xc (only because dasher brass isn't available yet and Norma & Tubbs brass work!
2) 6mm Dasher (fire-form) (soon to be Norma made)
3) 6brx or brdx (fire-form from Lapua brass)
Any of the BR's would be great to 6-800yds but loose steam quick from there.
Something to think about

I started with a PTA in the box for the same kind of shooting you listed. I went with a CBI barrel from Northland (12 week wait) in 243 because I was set up for it, They were willing to cut the chamber & throat I wanted, had a good supply of brass, and it did well at the matches for me the year before. The absolute hardest thing for me to find was a good stock. I started with the action and weighed every piece as I purchased it so I could make weight for the match's. The guys at CBI hit my barrel weight on the ounce. If you travel to matches where you might shoot over 500 rounds before reloading, brass availability & price is going to be a big thing as it was for me. The SLR in your list of possibilities is easy to make giving a nice neck & shoulder. If I smoke this 243 barrel this summer I think I'll order a SLR for 2017, good lord willing my health holds up.

Here's a list of folks doing savage stuff, I'm sure there are many more.
