Appreciate your answer and time you spent Mozella -Thank you ! I use Rem's. and Savages for builds for the following reasons : Rem. has the most copied action design for a reason .Also with the availability of some of the best triggers made, they will shoot! Savage has the easy ability to change barrels and their changeable floating bolt head is a plus . The design of RBLP and dual ports are a joy to load and shoot for "prarrie" guns . Keep your answers coming !!!Very well said !
Would you mind calling me on this ? Gasper 815-282-3450 CSTOk , another twist . The new remington 783 , rigid action , articulated bolt head , super fast lock time , easy open after firing , takes Savage barrels .
I've been converting to left load rt eject . Easy to do .
I really like these , some have issues with the firing pin assembly , it copies the Bat and Mossberg . It's good , has been cnc at Kentucky and being remington is better than the 700 coming in .
From a purely accuracy stand point is the RBLP action any more accurate than the dual port ? Also anyone have any thoughts on comparing them only on an accuracy stand point to the other COMERCIAL actions as to how they would compare ? Firsthand info. trumps "wag's" !!!!
I was just getting ready to do a barrel swap on my kids Savage Axis from 22-250 to 6mmbr, we have a 783 also, will the 783 take the savage small shank barrel and is the swap as straight forward as doing savage 110/axis ? much prefer the 783 action over the savage Axis. ThanksOk , another twist . The new remington 783 , rigid action , articulated bolt head , super fast lock time , easy open after firing , takes Savage barrels .
